About Maverick Construction

Maverick Construction is operated as the DBA of its parent company, Muters Construction Inc. I come from a family of builders/carpenters. My father was a tract home builder throughout the 70s and 80s in Oregon. After my family moved to California in 1989, I began to learn the trade as well, working with my father and older brothers in the summers before graduating high school in 1996.

Since then, I have worked exclusively in the construction and remodeling trade. I moved to Austin, TX in 2003 to marry my wife, Mari. For the first 3 years in Texas, I worked as an employee for a custom remodeling contractor here in Austin, TX. Now, as the owner of my own company, I enjoy the opportunity to provide cost-effective, high-quality work to my own clients looking for interior and exterior home additions and remodeling.
